- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆People will tell you that Credit Unions are the best place to keep your money. Boy did I learn my lesson! Several unauthorized charges appeared on my card from out of state and Eastman refused to help me or credit it back to my account. They wanted me to get authorization from the company that charged my account even though the company told me I would have to contact my bank to reverse the charges. If you aren't a high profile customer with thousands of dollars in your account they will refuse to help you. Customer service is rude and my overall experience with ECU was extremely poor.
